prayers; reviewed formation of past participles, checked homework ditto at the board; text page R9-10 introduction of irregular past participles; watched video on formation of past tense (passe compose); text p. 309         Devoir - quiz Wednesday on past participles, Toulouse-Lautrec is due on the 24th of March   BON WEEK-END!

LE 9 MARS   ASSIGNMENTS TO BE DONE AT HOME DURING SCHOOL CLOSURE DUE TO NO WATER

1. You should be working on the Toulouse-Lautrec report which is due on Wednesday, March 24th

2. Start writing a reply to your pen pal in the middle section of your notebook.  Write simple sentences about your family in English that we can translate into French in class.

3. Do workbook pages 192 (section 3), 193, 199 (section B) on the passe compose.  Remember that the passe compose will have 3 parts:  1. start with your subject, noun or pronoun   2. use the correct form of the verb avoir for that subject (ai, as, a, avons, avez, ont)  3. use the past participle for the verb given    ex:  vendre (to sell), the past participle is vendu     (vendre) tu as vendu

student led prayers; reviewed the formation of the passe compose and the past participles; worked on workbook p. 192 and 193, checked at the board; worked on p. 199 section B (did not finish)  Devoir - study past participles for quiz tomorrow;  artist report due date changed to March 24
